The HEAL Italia Forum 2026, funded by the PNRR, was created with the aim of highlighting the results achieved within the HEAL Italia Project while also launching a strategic reflection on the future positioning of Italian Precision Medicine in the European and international context.
The initiative seeks to move beyond the traditional model of a scientific conference centered on the presentation of project activities, transforming instead into a true space for operational networking, strategic discussion, and the building of relationships among research, healthcare, industry, institutions, PNRR partnerships, and European and international stakeholders. The event will feature a dynamic and participatory format, based on strategic roundtables moderated by journalists and sector experts, with brief interventions focused on discussion and the construction of shared perspectives.
The two days will be dedicated to the identification and recognition of the best research projects and the most promising technologies, as well as to the consolidation of the HEAL Italia network. A live broadcast and remote connection involving the entire critical mass of human resources engaged in the Program are also planned.
The event will take place on June 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on June 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, at the Real Teatro Santa Cecilia, Via Piccola del Teatro Santa Cecilia 15, Palermo.
Objectives of the Forum
The Forum aims to highlight the results of the PNRR by sharing the scientific, technological, and organizational outcomes of HEAL Italia and their impact on research, industry, healthcare, and Made in Italy innovation. The goal is to strengthen dialogue with industry, universities, international institutions, and European partners in order to foster new opportunities for cooperation and development, while building a shared vision among research, clinical practice, institutions, and citizens.
The program
The two days will address the central themes of Precision Medicine through roundtables dedicated to personalized therapies, the Italian PNRR research ecosystem, internationalization and European partnerships, health communication, and the enhancement of young researchers. The Forum will conclude with the presentation of the White Paper “Toward the Italian Strategy for Precision Medicine”, together with a moment of discussion with the researchers recruited through the PNRR Project, as well as interviews, presentations, and award ceremonies.
