Heal Italia Roadshow
A journey through technology, innovation, and research
Closing roadshow of the Fondazione HEAL Italia research program
PNRR M4C2 From Research to Enterprise
Description and objectives
HEAL Italia builds on a position that, in a short time, has brought the PNRR Program into the places where innovation is truly shaped: territories, scientific communities, institutions, industrial ecosystems, and international precision medicine networks. The path undertaken has already generated milestones, relationships, opportunities for high-level dialogue, and growing recognition of the HEAL Italia research foundation system as a platform capable of connecting research, healthcare, technology transfer, investment, and development.
Today, new stages are opening for the closing roadshow of the program and the launch of future initiatives, strengthening its presence across Italian and international territories and giving continuity to a movement already underway, with the ambition of maintaining a strong capacity for impact. The experiences carried out so far have consolidated a national and international network, sparked strategic collaborations, fostered discussion on patents, technologies, biobanks, clinical research, start-ups, finance, and adoption models, and demonstrated that precision medicine can become not only a field of scientific excellence, but also a concrete driver of competitiveness, attraction, and transformation.
The Rome event was dedicated to launching HEAL Italia as a National Innovation Hub for Precision Medicine.
Each stage is therefore the result of a process of collaboration with partner institutions and aims to present the Program to local territories through targeted themes.

International Roadshow – More than half a year of meetings to present the results and proudly share the achievements and new milestones
The final roadshow, rather than marking the end of a project, tells the story of a transition toward the new goals that the Foundation and its partnership have set for themselves, with the aim of engaging the brightest talents, knowledge holders, and experiences that can help give greater strength and maturity to an already recognizable trajectory, one focused on enhancing the results achieved and opening up new opportunities for growth for HEAL Italia and for the entire innovation ecosystem.
Today, HEAL Italia is accelerating on the basis of an already established foundation, through a well-structured sequence of initiatives carried out in highly significant territorial, scientific, and international contexts.
In recent months, we have taken HEAL Italia beyond the boundaries of a single project and into a broader dimension: one in which research meets clinical practice, technology transfer, enterprise, investment, and the major international networks of innovation. We are not simply describing a vision; we have begun to make it recognizable, concrete, and credible.
The roadshow is part of the national campaign “HEAL Italia for Technology Transfer in Precision Medicine”, which will run for six months. It already began in Cagliari on March 20, 2026, and includes an intensive program of visits, meetings, workshops, participation in scientific conferences, press engagements, dedicated spots scheduled on radio and television channels, a special podcast series, and more.

HEAL Italia Roadshow: the project’s early development, from outreach to global connection in Precision Medicine
The HEAL Italia Roadshow was conceived as a journey across local territories to showcase the evolution of the HEAL Italia research program, placing the strategic role of technology transfer in Precision Medicine at its center. Step by step, this path has accompanied the growth of an increasingly integrated ecosystem linking research, enterprise, and institutions, transforming the initiative from a simple moment of discussion into a true national and international platform for connection.
From the earliest stages, such as Cagliari (October 2, 2024), where the Centers dedicated to Precision Medicine were presented, to more institutional events such as Rome (December 11, 2024), which marked the recognition of HEAL Italia as a National Innovation Hub, the roadshow has progressively consolidated its role within the Italian scientific and technological landscape. At the same time, events such as Ancona (October 5, 2024), held on the occasion of the G7 Health, and Trieste (October 30, 2024) strengthened the dialogue between clinical research, European networks, and industrial value chains, highlighting the ability of the research program to activate concrete synergies across local territories.
During 2025, the roadshow further expanded its scope, integrating moments of national scientific discussion — such as the conference in Ancona (February 28 – March 1, 2025) — with initiatives dedicated to territorial development and translational research, such as Bologna (March 10, 2025) and Foggia (April 7, 2025).
This journey has accompanied a significant transformation: from an outreach initiative to an operational tool for building shared projects, capable of identifying new opportunities and fostering connections among skills, technologies, and investments.
The international dimension represented a further stage of evolution, with participation in globally significant events such as the BIO International Convention in Boston (June 16–19, 2025), marking the opening of the HEAL Italia research program to international networks and markets. In this context, the roadshow now stands as a dynamic and continuously evolving initiative, capable not only of telling the story of change but also of actively guiding it toward an innovative, personalized, and increasingly connected healthcare system.
