Fondazione HEAL ITALIA aims to act as a facilitator of innovation, with the goal of enhancing research, supporting scientific entrepreneurship, and accelerating the development of high-impact solutions in the fields of Precision Medicine and Life Sciences.
Obiettivi
The services offered by HEAL Italia are designed to support the entire innovation cycle: from idea generation to validation, all the way to market entry. This pathway accelerates and enhances every stage of the process, adapting to the needs of research groups, start-ups, SMEs, hospitals, and IRCCS, through a targeted and tailored approach.
In summary:
- Provide access to the HEAL Italia Nursery, as well as to its ecosystem of technological platforms, core facilities, and services for preclinical, clinical, and translational research;
- Facilitate the attraction of national and international investment through tailored pathways based on the type of organization involved;
- Support technology transfer and ad hoc acceleration programs designed to enhance innovative solutions emerging from the territory;
- Promote the development of distinctive skills in the research areas of the Precision Medicine value chain, the Pathology Clusters, and the Technological Clusters of HEAL Italia;
- Strengthen the international positioning of the precision medicine value chain.

ACCESS TO THE HEAL ITALIA NURSERY
Access is provided to dedicated physical spaces and cutting-edge technological infrastructure, such as laboratories, testing areas, and specialized equipment, to support research, development, and experimentation activities. Access to these resources can represent a strategic asset for accelerating the innovation pathway, reducing logistical barriers, and strengthening collaboration.
TRAINING AND TALENT ACQUISITION
A range of training programs designed to strengthen innovation management capabilities and update the technical and transversal skills of researchers, professionals, and corporate teams, delivered with the support of industry experts and qualified partners.
TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER
A strategic activity aimed at connecting key internal and external stakeholders, including companies, investors, research organizations, and institutions, with the goal of activating collaborations and strategic partnerships that foster the development, growth, and enhancement of innovative solutions.
ACCELERATION PATHWAYS
A structured support service for the development of Proofs of Concept (PoC) and Go-to-Market strategies, with the aim of guiding start-ups, research groups, and companies in developing innovative solutions ready to be validated and introduced to the market.
LEGAL SUPPORT AND MANAGEMENT OF IP, PRIVACY, AND CERTIFICATIONS
A service that includes intellectual property (IP) protection, legal assistance in the drafting and approval of agreements, support on privacy and healthcare data security matters, as well as regulatory guidance for obtaining certifications, in support of innovation projects.
GRANT OFFICE FOR FUNDRAISING
Dedicated support for identifying and accessing national and international funding opportunities for different types of organizations and partners. The Foundation also contributes directly to supporting innovation initiatives that demonstrate high transformative potential and the ability to generate value for the scientific community.
INTERNATIONAL POSITIONING
Support for national entities and organizations in their internationalization journey, facilitating access to opportunities, collaborations, and foreign markets in the identified areas. Stakeholders are also supported in gaining visibility and integration within global contexts, strengthening their competitive value at the international level, including in the attraction of foreign funding and investment.
