HEAL Italia Foundation promotes the event “The Future Is Now. From Achievements to New Horizons with RNA-based Medicines and Gene Therapy”

HEAL Italia Foundation spread the institutional event “The Future Is Now. From Achievements to New Horizons with RNA-based Medicines and Gene Therapy”, promoted by the National Center for RNA & Gene Therapy in collaboration with the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome.

The initiative represents an important opportunity for dialogue among institutions, the scientific community, and stakeholders in the biomedical sector on the results achieved in the field of RNA-based therapies and on the future perspectives of gene therapy, key areas for the advancement of personalized medicine and innovation in healthcare.

The event will take place on:

  • Thursday, April 2, 2026
  • 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Valerio Nobili Auditorium, Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital
    Viale Ferdinando Baldelli 38, Rome, Italy

The meeting represents the closing event of the PNRR activities of the National Center for RNA & Gene Therapy and will provide an opportunity to present the results of the research carried out in recent years, as well as to discuss the future clinical applications of new therapeutic technologies.

The program will include:

  • Institutional greetings from representatives of academia and public institutions;
  • A session dedicated to translating scientific research into personalized therapeutic solutions;
  • A roundtable discussion on the future of biomedical research after the PNRR;
  • A final networking session among participants.

Among the speakers are leading figures from the scientific and institutional landscape, including Prof. Rosario Rizzuto, President of the National Center for RNA & Gene Therapy, together with representatives from academia, healthcare institutions, and the biotechnology industry.

The event will also be live-streamed on the YouTube channel of the National Center for RNA & Gene Therapy, allowing a broader audience to join the discussion on key topics shaping the future of medicine
