On May 28, 2026, at the Palazzo Reale in Palermo, the conference “The Roadmap of Appropriateness: Precision Medicine between Innovation and Regional Practice” was held, organized by the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA). The event brought together institutions, clinicians, and researchers to discuss prescriptive appropriateness and the role of data in modern healthcare, with the participation of AIFA President Robert Giovanni Nisticò.
HEAL Italia was represented by its President, Prof. Massimo Midiri, Rector of the University of Palermo, who took part in the institutional greetings on behalf of a network of more than 70 institutions committed to the research and application of precision medicine in Italy. His presence confirms the Foundation’s role as a key interlocutor in the national debate on therapeutic innovation and healthcare policies in the field of precision medicine.
