Following the approval of its new Statute, the HEAL ITALIA Foundation officially opens its doors to new strategic partners to strengthen the first National Hub dedicated to Precision Medicine and Health Biotechnologies.
Who We Are: An Integrated National Strategic Value Chain
The HEAL ITALIA Foundation (Health Extended Alliance for Innovative Therapies, Advanced Lab-Research, and Integrated Approaches to Precision Medicine) represents the national reference ecosystem for innovation in the field of Precision Medicine.
Established within the framework of the PNRR (NextGenerationEU), the Foundation currently coordinates an integrated national strategic value chain bringing together more than 70 centres of excellence, including Italy’s leading universities, IRCCS research hospitals, healthcare institutions, and major industrial partners.

HEAL ITALIA operates through a multidisciplinary structure covering the entire health value chain, with a focus on high-impact research areas:
- Advanced and Predictive Diagnostics: development of biomarkers and early screening protocols.
- Innovative and Personalized Therapies: development of targeted drugs, gene therapies, and cell-based treatments.
- Next-Generation Oncology: precision approaches for cancer treatment.
- Rare and Metabolic Diseases: integrated solutions for conditions with unmet medical needs.

Membership Procedures:
To access the selection process and obtain membership status, applicants must:
