The HEAL ITALIA Foundation has published Public Notice 2/2026 for the acquisition of expressions of interest for the provision of a specialized technical incubation and technology acceleration service.
The initiative is part of the Extended Partnership PE000019 – HEAL ITALIA, funded by the PNRR – Mission 4 “Education and Research,” with the aim of leveraging research results for industrial and entrepreneurial purposes.
The Incubation & Acceleration Program (IAP) is designed to support the Partnership’s spokespeople and affiliates in technology transfer, fostering the creation and development of research startups and spin-offs in the fields of life sciences, advanced diagnostics, and innovative therapies, with a particular focus on precision medicine.
The planned activities include:
Analysis and evaluation of research projects with high entrepreneurial potential;
Support for fundraising and investor search;
Market analysis and positioning definition;
Support for the establishment of innovative startups, including business models, business plans, and intellectual property protection;
Business development support.
The call is open to certified incubators and accelerators with specific experience in healthcare biotechnology and life sciences. The maximum award amount is €138,000 (excluding VAT and duties), with a duration until April 30, 2026, the current deadline for the HEAL ITALIA project.
Expressions of interest must be submitted within ten days of the publication of the call to the Foundation’s certified email and email addresses, according to the methods indicated in the call.
With this initiative, HEAL ITALIA strengthens its commitment to transferring research results to the production system, contributing to the growth of an innovation ecosystem capable of competing internationally.
