A day dedicated to internationalization for the HEAL Italia Foundation

The HEAL Italia Foundation dedicated an entire day to the topic of internationalization, confirming its commitment to strengthening its global network of relationships and development.

The morning began with a meeting with the partner organizations, during which the upcoming mission to Canada, scheduled for November and focused on artificial intelligence applied to precision medicine, was presented. The meeting was attended by the Foundation’s Chief Operating Officer, Laura Leonardis, Internationalization Officer, Tiziana Lipari, and Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada, Ruggiera Sarcina, along with numerous representatives of the partnership interested in exploring the opportunities offered by Canada.

A second meeting took place in the afternoon, featuring an investor the Foundation met during the Boston mission, who is interested in supporting initiatives in Italy in the field of gene therapies. Discussions with three partner organizations currently developing these technologies provided an opportunity to explore potential synergies and pave the way for new investments nationwide.

These initiatives confirm HEAL Italia’s commitment to enhancing its research and innovation ecosystem, strengthening the international dimension of its activities and promoting new collaboration opportunities for the benefit of the scientific community and the country.
